What do Bear Grylls, segways and paintball in Snowdonia all have in common? They’re all available at the amazing Dragon Raiders!
Situated in Criccieth and widely-regarded as the best thing to do when you’re in the historic area, Dragon Raiders Activity Park has been the go-to for those wanting to stay fit whilst having fun at the same time for many years in North Wales.
The Paintball Park from Dragon Raiders is recognised as offering a wild day out by those lucky enough to take part in an adrenaline-boosting round or two of shoot ‘em up action. There’s no better way to bond with friends and colleagues than to pop up out of foliage and to let off a few shots at them! Thanks to the 30 acres of park that becomes your playground and the expert supervision, this activity has been popular for over 10 years throughout the region.
Elsewhere from Dragon Raiders, it doesn’t get much better than pitting yourself against Bear Grylls’ Survival Academy if you really want to test your limits.
Croeso and welcome to my new and exclusive Survival Challenge based on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, an area very close to my heart and a place I love. The landscape here at Dragon Raiders has a truly wild and rugged terrain, one which will truly challenge you.” – Bear Grylls
Suitable for an age range of 10+, only enrol at the Survival Academy if you think you have the mettle! The adrenaline-filled adventure is bound to leave you breathless by its end as is a sure-fire way of testing yourself as a survivalist: there’s much more depth to it than running around as it also makes you think in a race against time. All successful entrants receive their own certificate from the man himself and it will be an experience that will live long in the memory.
On the slightly lighter side of activities at Dragon Raiders Activity Park comes the Segway X2 Adventures. If you’ve ever wanted to challenge a close friend or family member to a race on these two-wheeled speed demons then it’s very unlikely that you’ll get a better opportunity than this!
Also on-site is Dragon Raiders’ very own snack shop (it’s the ideal place to sneak off to for a coffee during a game!), a rest area and a warming fire available during winter. Anybody for a hog roast?
So don’t delay, make sure you visit the premier activity park throughout the whole of North Wales at Dragon Raiders. They’ve also recently had a revamp of their website so be sure to give that a look as well!
