August Bank holiday is finally here, giving us the perfect opportunity to enjoy some time with our families, making the most of our last bit of British summer. And what better way to enjoy the last of it than by visiting North Wales; a rural region filled with charm and character. The Wild Horse Brewing Company is holding a fantastic open day event on builder St, Llandudno, where guests can take a peek into their home brewery. Find out about how their lovely beer is made, using traditional methods with the finest ingredients. Afterwards, visit the bar and shop to discover some of their fantastic merchandise and wide range of beer. Enjoy some delicious wood fired pizza at the end of it all.
Festival No 6. Taking place from the 1st till the 4th Sep, is considered one of the most unique arts and culture festivals of its kind, showcasing a range of brands, experiences and activities right in the heart of Portmeirion, Porthmadog. Already boasting a picturesque view, surrounded by colourful and astoundingly beautiful Italian architecture, festival No 6 takes you into it its own little world of colour, music and dance. On the 27th and 28th of August, the Rhyl Air Show showcases an impressive aerobatic display. There will be a huge range of trade stands and exhibitors, so there’s entertainment both on the ground and in the skies! At this event you’ll see both military and commercial aircraft carry out meticulous displays like you’ve never seen before.
The Big Tree Climbing Company are back for another year at Bodnant Gardens in Conwy. On Sunday the 28th of August, your children can climb some of the most beautiful trees in Conwy! You’ll be all kitted up with a harness and helmet before you take the trees under the guidance of a professional climber.
