Chester’s very own International Film Festival will take place on the 6th of March 2014 and is on until the 15th of March. This is the Film Festival’s 28th year in Chester.
This is a marvellous event celebrating culture, and the art of film right here in Cheshire and is definitely not an event to be missed!
Chester Film Society are the brains behind this excellent celebration of great international films.
This festival takes place in various venues across Chester and gives you the opportunity to enjoy new releases, old classics and indie films that are making waves. Doors open at the various theatres every night of the festival at 7pm with films beginning at 7:45pm.
This remarkable artistic festival has been growing in popularity and prestige every year so please continue to attend and support this fantastic thematic event. If you wish to join the film society you are in for a treat of diverse and incredible film experiences.
This Festival will give you the chance to indulge in films that may have missed the North West of England so enjoy some fantastic pieces of cinema you might have otherwise missed out on.
Some of the locations the films will be debuting in our: the Steam Mill, the Little Theatre or St Mary’s Centre.
Tickets are now on offer for the Film festival so please remember to reserve them before they all run out. Single tickets to individual film showings are just £3.50 but a Special Festival Pass is only £10 and this allows you entry into any four films throughout the Festival period.
Keep an eye out for the Chester Film Festival 2014 Programme which is due to be released soon. People have been submitting cinematic entries to the Chester Film Festival from all over the world and this year there will be an extra special feature. 2014 welcomes the Animation Showcase to the Chester Film Festival Programme.
This will be a celebration for the very best in animation from around the world and the society is already in the process of choosing the final list of animation films for the festival.
